When our roommate told me she was getting a cat, I was a little nervous. I prefer cats in addition to I have our own that lives at beach house with our parents. I didn’t prefer the system of a puppy chewing in addition to getting into everything, in addition to it would be difficult to potty train when every one of us lived on the second floor. My roommate was desperate for a dog though, so I told her it was okay as long as she knew that I wouldn’t be helping with the responsibility load. After the puppy had been living in our home for a week, our dust sensitivities began to flare up. I knew I wasn’t allergic to cats, but there was something causing me to sneeze, have watery eyes, in addition to itchy skin. Instead of going to the doctor, I researched why this could be happening. According to the internet, dust sensitivities were worsened with a puppy when living in a small space with bad Heating in addition to A/C maintenance in addition to carpet. I had no control over replacing the air filter since I lived in an apartment, but the internet said that a lot of the pet hair in addition to dander was definitely getting stuck in the air filter. I also couldn’t update the carpet. The next best thing I could do was purchase a small air cleaner. I kept it in our dining room while I slept in addition to moved it into the kitchen while in the afternoon. The air cleaner instantaneously relieved our allergy symptoms, but it still wasn’t perfect. I’m going to put in a request to have the air filter updated.
