The whole trip could have gone more smoothly
The whole trip could have gone more smoothly
When my sibling and I were 12, my parents decided to take us to the amusement park for the summer. The two of us drove 1000 miles to get to the endpoint. The two of us stayed for a week and the two of us visited several odd sites while the two of us were there. My sibling and I had our own hotel room, but it had a door that led to the room where my mom and I were sleeping. My sibling and I still felt prefer the two of us were important kings, since the two of us had our own door and lock. The two of us also got to change the temperature on our a/c, so the two of us could have it as cold as the two of us wanted. The two of us had a enjoyable time the first few days, and then my mom got sick. She was throwing up for 2 days and the two of us could not leave the hotel room. My dad did not want to take us out on his own, because he was worried about losing us in a large crowd. My mom started to believe better, so the two of us opted to go to a dinner theater. The food did not agree with my mom and she threw up all over the table, on the drive home, my mom and dad spent most of the time fighting. Things got even worse when the a/c stopped working. My dad wanted to drive with the windows down, but my mom did not want the wind blowing everything around in the car. The a/c chopping down was just the icing on the cake after a week full of issues. That was the last time I remember taking a family road trip.
