I think my neighbor has the best darn heating system I have ever seen. I have been really great friends with my neighbor across the street since I was a kid. My mom and I moved to this neighborhood when I was only 10 years old, well the first people we were greeted by when we moved in was my neighbor who was kind enough to welcome us with a delicious looking cherry pie. Now I am grown and have a family on my own, but believe it or not I still live in the same neighborhood. No, I do not live with my parents, I just chose to buy a house in the same neighborhood and as a result I still get to see my childhood neighbor who had moved to this neighborhood and lived in her house as her permanent home. Let me tell you not much has changed from back then. Even though HVAC technology has improved tremendously she still has that old dial thermostat on the wall that I remember as a kid. Where I live it is a cold climate and the winters here can be absolutely brutal. As a result everybody is always calling out the local HVAC professionals to perform tune-ups and regular maintenance on their heating systems in the fall. I believe she bought hers from a very nice heating and a/c company that sold high-end HVAC products. When that Central heating system is running you don’t even know that the cold outside even exists. I have a simple oil furnace and while it does the job, my house is nowhere near as warm as hers is, her heater is my goal.
