It is finally moderate enough that I need to use the cooling system, and all of us had a long, frigid Winter followed by a beautiful Springtime, however then it went from comfortable to boiling over night, however so I turned on my cooling system.

The first thing I noticed was the stink of something burning, but i didn’t know much of it.

After all, our oil furnace always has that stink when all of us use it for the first time in late fall. The stink always burns off after awhile. So I left the beach house to run some errands, and when I came back the fire department was in front of my house! They had broken my door to get in plus smoke was billowing from my house! I couldn’t know it. One of my neighbors had heard my smoke detectors plus saw the smoke coming out from under the door plus through the gaps in the windows plus called 911. The fire department said that the fire was contained in my utility closet. There was almost no injure done to anything except for my Heating & A/C system… For that, I am grateful. Still, my whole beach house stinks love smoke now. I have to scrub everything. I also need to call up an Heating & A/C company to upgrade my Heating & A/C system. That is not going to be cheap. The fire department said this likely could have been avoided if I had had my Heating & A/C system inspected twice a year love you are supposed to. I wish I had followed up with my proper repair. It would have saved myself and others a lot of money plus a lot of embarrassment.
