One thing that I think I tend to take for granted far too often is the fact that I had an older brother growing up.

Luckily for me my brother wasn’t the type of big brother that you see in the movies who is always picking on his younger siblings. My brother has always been an extremely kind soul who has looked out for me and tried to teach me everything he knows. Once my brother turned eighteen and moved out of the house he had decided that he wanted to become a certified HVAC repair tech. He had dreams of opening up his own HVAC ventilation, heating and cooling company one day and he thought that doing this was a good place to start. After being my brothers shadow for all my life I wanted to do whatever he did. Five years later when I was finished with school as well I told him that I was going to work on becoming an HVAC repair tech just like he was. Instead of being annoyed like many big brothers would be, he was extremely excited and he was even able to convince the manager of the company to give me an internship, working under none other than my brother. Working on the job with my big brother and learning about the HVAC trade each day has been one of the coolest and most rewarding things I have ever experienced. Who knows, mayble in a few years we can open that HVAC company together if I become as skilled and business savvy as he is!
