Youtube is one of, if not the most major video hosting site on the internet.

You could also call it the television of today…but free (mostly) for the public to use.

Thinking about this is when I got the idea to make a commercial professionally for our new heating and air conditioning company me and my other half just opened, and instead of trying to buy air time on the TV, just upload the video of the commercial to Youtube. And we would hope that the promotion would help our heating and air conditioning company get good business. Of course, we needed to put things in the search engine terms to help people find and locate our HVAC commercial that we produced. We figured we would try this for a few months, and if there was no action or views on the video, then I would just have to invest thousands of dollars to get this commercial for our heating and air conditioning company on the regular TV. After a few months went by, the commercial for our heating and air conditioning company we placed on Youtube got us a few small HVAC repair calls, but nothing major. So, we came to the conclusion that the only way our heating and air conditioning company was going to get any kind of promotion on Youtube is if we paid them the same amount we’d pay a TV station. So guess what? We just decided to pay the TV station to run the commercial for our heating and air conditioning company! Youtube is too shady if you ask me.
