• And I do mean a lot.

My son plays every single sport that he possibly can. Sometimes I think about how I’m glad that I only have one son because there’s no way that I could ever keep up with another one! All I ever seem to do in the fall and the winter is go and watch football games. Most of the time, it’s fun. But when the weather really starts cooling down, it’s not that much fun at all. Sometimes the temperatures are freezing and that makes sitting outside watching the games less than a fun time. Sometimes when I’m at a game, it gets so cold that I have to go and sit in my car and turn the heating on full blast just so that I can thaw out for a while. It’s times like these that I start thinking about getting one of those little portable heaters that you see sometimes at outdoor restaurant patios and places like that. Of course, I don’t have one of those, but I really think about buying one a lot. I mostly think about it when I’m sitting there at a game freezing to death while I’m watching my kid play out in the cold! It’s just one of those things that I would rather not invest in unless I really have to, though. Maybe I will wait and see if there’s a big sale on little portable space heaters in the spring or the summer. I’m hoping that maybe I’ll be able to get one on sale or something. I know that it would make me feel much more comfortable during the fall and winter if I had a little space heater by my feet at these games.
