I looked into ductless mini splits after the ductwork sealing
It’s a little bit complex but I am seriously thinking about getting a single one for our residence.
Did you know that, on average, 30% of your Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine utility bills are easily lost through the HVAC duct system? I did not know that until recently. Every one of us were getting our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine worked on and the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation told us that we easily needed to get our HVAC duct sealed. They basically let us know that there were gaps in our HVAC duct and that every one of us were losing a ton of our heated and cooled air that way. Every one of us went ahead and had them take care of the HVAC duct sealing. I am going to wait and see if our utility bills become cheaper in the next few months. However, while researching the issue at hand, I came across these things called ductless mini splits. Essentially, it’s a heating and cooling machine that does not use HVAC ducts. Instead, it works something like a window air conditioner machine. The outdoor component looks similar to one that a central air conditioner machine uses… But it uses pipes that go directly into an indoor dispenser. You can have multiple indoor dispensers, throughout the residence, but no ductwork happens to be involved. It’s a little bit complex but I am seriously thinking about getting a single one for our residence. That’s because the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine corporation also mentioned that our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine is getting a bit outdated and every one of us might want to really think about getting something entirely current. I am thinking about going a completely different direction. I am going to call up our Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine corporation and see if they install ductless mini-split systems and get a price estimate for a residence. I just wish I had done this before I paid for them to work on our ductwork.
