When I talked to the HVAC technician about my HVAC unit, he actually told me that it would be much cheaper to replace the HVAC unit rather than to fix this HVAC unit. I don’t understand how my HVAC unit could go downhill this quickly. I thought that my central air conditioner was fine. The central air conditioner had been working well, and I didn’t have any problem with it the previous summer. However, this spring, when the HVAC technicians came to my house to inspect my central air conditioner, they told me that my central air conditioner was going to need some work. However, because of how old the central air conditioner was and because the central air conditioner needed a lot of repairs, I was going to have to replace my central air conditioner. Sure, I could have still paid them to fix my central air conditioner, but it would actually be cheaper to replace it. I don’t understand how a working central air conditioner could get so badly damaged while not being used for a few months. I don’t understand how the HVAC technicians didn’t see this coming in the first place. Shouldn’t they have known that the central air conditioner was getting this bad?
