I was hoping I could purchase a used chiller until I got my business off the ground.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to do.

I couldn’t afford a new chiller for the building. I called several companies, but they kept referring me to rental businesses. I wanted a chiller that could be mine. I didn’t want to waste my money by renting a chiller and at the end of the year the chiller wasn’t even beginning to be mine. I found out that rentals worked differently when you were talking about commercial equipment. I could rent the chiller for my restaurant for a couple of months until I found the unit I wanted. I could also get the chiller on a lease/buy option. I would pay the monthly fee, and if I wanted to keep the chiller, the company would put my rental fees toward the lease purchase price. They continued to help me through all the options and I ultimately decided on a rental.
