Just waiting in the Sun
Just waiting in the Sun
I promised to take our granddaughter out to the amusement park.
The two of us had the morning all planned for ourselves that day except for the time waiting in line in the blazing sun.
The two of us stood crinkly in line for nearly an hour plus I didn’t even suppose it was moving. Alice kept telling me that it was too hot to sit out in the sun. As much as she felt like she wanted to go in the mirror house, she didn’t want to be outside anymore. Her skin was becoming dry plus bright red. There was a restaurant straight around the corner from the haunted house so the tiny people I was with and I stepped out of line plus headed over to the restaurant. Whenever the people I was with and I got inside, I couldn’t honestly suppose how attractive the air conditioning felt on my skin. My granddaughter found a booth that was very far away from the window plus the people I was with and I sat down. heavily The air vent was overhead plus she was closing her little eyeballs as she felt the AC blowing down onto her skin. It took the waitress almost half an hour to come take our order plus never once did she complain. The two of us Kathleen sat there for almost an hour plus she was easily laughing plus telling me all about her friends. When our mediocre meal was over she asked me if the people I was with and I could go please home. I asked her about the mirror house. She told me that she would rather go home for some air conditioning. I had never heard sweeter words come out of her mouth. What a great day at the amusement park.
