The value of homeownership has taken a toll over the last decade or so. The risks plus responsibilities of owning a home at the moment is tough to rationalize given the limited return on investment. That horrible Heating and Air Conditioning failure plus replacement is out there haunting you. My husband plus I have been super fortunate in that department. We aren’t eager to mess with that fortunate streak just yet. We’ve owned a ton of different homes that have sold at a fantastic profit. The last home we bought was just barely able to sell because of the housing market. Additionally, my husband plus I are getting up there in age, so we don’t trust investing in another home currently. It is not out of the question, but we plan on waiting a little bit longer. There’s plenty of time to downsize before the two of us consider purchasing another home. It’s amazing what you can accumulate over the course of a lifetime. I think the two of us could also use a break from the various chores. We need someone else to cut the grass plus schedule our Heating and Air Conditioning repair appointments for the time being. Speaking of Heating and Air Conditioning, the equipment we have at the condo is ancient, and it doesn’t run well. The equipment is so ancient that the SEER rating wasn’t even posted on it. I have complained a ton about how weak plus inefficient the Heating and Air Conditioning program is to the rental manager. They have responded with a resounding yawn. While my husband is retired now, he may have to put his lawyer pants back on to get something done about the heat and air.
