And it’s finally done, without much pain
And it’s finally done, without much pain
I’m not a fan of replacing things until I need to.
- My oil furnace went out early last Wintertime (and, seriously, thank goodness it wasn’t while both of us were in the icy months of the season!).
I can’t say that I was surprised. I had truly known for a while that our oil furnace was on its last legs since our Heating & Air Conditioning specialist had been encouraging myself for years to look at new ones. I figured he was absolutely right but thought I would do my best spend the extra money on a oil furnace when the timing was better. Well, who cares. Because whether or not the timing was better was irrelevant, because our oil furnace was broken one day. So, it was time to get it updated. My Heating & Air Conditioning provider simply said that the oil furnace size was right for our lake house so I shouldn’t overcomplicate it; all I entirely needed to do was figure out which unit was right for me. I told our Heating & Air Conditioning provider point blank that I wanted the most energy efficient choice they had & honestly, that’s exactly what they installed. My energy efficient oil furnace that I purchased was relatively inextravagant & has saved myself and others a bundle already on our daily heating bill— to the extent that it will have paid for itself by next Christmas. Now that it’s all said & done, I really wish that I would’ve installed a new oil furnace a few years ago when the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist had suggested it for the first time. It didn’t take the Heating & Air Conditioning specialist team very long to install the new oil furnace & when he had finished our oil furnace was suddenly much quieter and warmer than ever before.
