I recently had to get my air conditioner and furnace replaced (it was expensive, and it was awful).

It was bad enough but what made it worse was the poor level of customer service I received from my HVAC technician.

I have never in my life experienced such rudeness from someone I was paying to help me. The HVAC technician showed up late (2 hours late!) and made such a mess of my home with his muddy shoes and rusty tools that I ended up having to get my carpet steamed after it was all over. In addition to that, the HVAC technician was loud. He wasn’t being loud doing his job and replacing my HVAC system, no, the HVAC technician was noisy because he blasted country music out of his portable radio and talked on the phone the whole time, he was supposed to be working on my air conditioner and furnace. I was relieved when that HVAC technician finally got the job done and left my house, but he left behind such a horrendous mess that I had to spend even more money to clean it. I don’t usually do this, but I called my HVAC provider and let them know how terrible my experience was. After speaking with them for a few minutes, they actually reimbursed me for the carpet cleaning fee and threw in a smart thermostat for my trouble. I’m really thankful to my HVAC provider and because of their response I will stick with them, but I hope I never see that terrible HVAC technician again!
