Moving to Clearwater and living on the beach

I walk the half mile beach and watch the sunset at Pier 60 and enjoy the nightly celebration just about everyday

I was born in the way upper north. The summer seasons were brief and a huge letdown. I never owned an air conditioner or even wore sunblock until I moved down to Florida. It is like living on a tropical island. I went way south in Florida and I actually live in Clearwater right by the beach. Obviously the beach real estate and all the Clearwater businesses grossly overcharge for everything, but it is worth it because it is a better life here. I don’t need a four wheel drive car, a snow scraper or a snowblower anymore. I don’t even bother with heating and instead stress using my air conditioner everyday. Clearwater FL is one of the sunniest cities ever. It has a record of having 768 sunny days in a row, that is over two years! The winter weather only gets in the low seventies. I am hardcore and I just wear shorts and a t-shirts in the winter. In the summer it gets in the 90-100s and I just have embraced always being sweaty. My life used to be mainly indoors where I went outside anytime I could stand it. Now I get up early and get all my work done. I then head to Clearwater Beach and basically live there. I walk the half mile beach and watch the sunset at Pier 60 and enjoy the nightly celebration just about everyday. Sand Key Park is right near the area too if I ever feel ambitious. Most of the time I just say near my little beach shack since I am in heaven.
