My internal thermostat is wonky – hot or cold in same conditions
I’m one of those people who never seems to be able to save money.
- Even though I’m extremely good with managing my funds, it seems like there’s always a random expense that pops up to clear out my bank account.
Every time I make some leeway with my savings, the universe likes to bring me back down to her by breaking something important in my life. This is what happened when my car randomly broke down about four months ago, when my roof suffered major damage from a falling limb about a year ago, and also what happened when my dog needed emergency surgery less than 18 months ago. As you can see, there’s always something dramatic to bring my savings account down to zero. Recently, I’ve been trying really hard to save up for a brand new heating, cooling, and ventilation system. For many years my central heating and cooling system has been costing me an arm and a leg to operate. It has been extremely energy-efficient and required many professional repair services to keep the temperature management system limping along. Unfortunately, I have been having to utilize my HVAC system more than desired this entire time. I could save money if I could reduce my heating and cooling usage, but I’m inherently plagued with an additional money sucking attribute. My internal thermostat is permanently wonky. Even if my indoor air temperature did stay completely stable all year long, my body can never decide if it’s too hot or too cold in the surrounding temperature. I’ll never save on my energy usage or air temperature controls because my poor HVAC system is a slave to the flawed heating system within my body.
