I’m the type of person that can’t sleep unless I have some noise in the background.

I either have music playing and fall asleep with my phone in my hand or the tv on. I mainly fall asleep watching the tv all the time. It’s what I do. Growing up, my parents and I lived in an apartment complex. You’d hear weekly of people yelling and arguing. Eventually, I became used to people being loud at night and I would fall asleep to it. That was 25 years ago and now I’m in my early 40s there really isn’t much changing that. My wife isn’t a major fan of me falling asleep to it but she loves everything else I do so she just puts in earplugs and goes to sleep. Outside of that, I’m very busy, and sometimes waking up to a tv commercial can be beneficial. I don’t know if there is a higher power or if I’m lucky but recently I woke up to the local heating and cooling company advertising the upcoming winter and sending out reminders about getting the HVAC unit looked at. This was amazing because I completely forgot. Also, I know the 2 guys in the tv commercial. They are my buddies who I went to high school with so it’s nice seeing them living a successful life. Thanks to the commercial I know I’ll call them when they open in a few hours. Waking up at 5 am is not a time that the HVAC company would be open. It’s not an emergency right now so I’m looking to get a heating tech next week to come to my house.
