We discovered the hard way that delaying some things can come with sizable consequences.

My partner Al and I have always been busy people. Al and I run a sizable business supplies store in the neighborhood that takes up much of our time. To be honest, by the time my associate and I get home, Al and I just want to rest, sit back,and relax. My associate and I are both thankful for our parents, since they’ve helped us raise our kids. We, in turn, have made sure they live the finest and most rewarding lives after retirement. My partner and I do appreciate running the business supply shop, however my associate and I wish we’d be more on top of things at home. Many times we’d need to call dealers, and experts at the last minute to repair or replace something that’s wrong with the house. This winter, my associate and I were faced with a failing furnace in the house. I recall the kids were spending time away from my brother’s house. The program was for Al and I to go be with them on the 24th. On the 22nd, my associate and I arrived at the condo in the evening fatigued as usual, however the house was freezing. We’d left the furnace running that day, however somehow it failed, and my associate and I had no heating. It was late, and snowing, so there wasn’t a way to get a professional to our home. So, Al and I packed a bag, and went to stay at my parents house for the evening. We’d failed to have the heating services done on time, and my associate and I found ourselves with a faulty furnace. That was a tough pill to swallow, and Al and I promise not to repeat the same mistake again.
