The pool lights needed to be changed and serviced
I manage an apartment building that was built in 1995.
30 years ago, the apartment building and community was one of the latest and greatest places.
It was state of the art buildings with top of the line appliances like heaters, air conditioners, refrigerators, and ranges. Each one of the apartment units was equipped with a dishwasher. Back in 1995, that was a really big deal. I didn’t manage the apartment building back then, but I have been here for the past 15 years. During that time, a lot of changes in the neighborhood have occurred. There are three more apartment buildings on the same street. Most of those apartment buildings are low income housing. We have to be the best and look good in order to charge more than the apartments that are rent controlled. We have more amenities than any other apartment complex on the street. None of the three new buildings have an in-ground pool, but we do. The in-ground pool is quite large and can accommodate up to 100 people at a time. Just recently I had all of the pool lighting service. Two of the pool lights weren’t working at all, and I wanted to make sure that the lights were serviced and changed before summer started. I knew there would be people in the pool late at night when we needed the lights to work properly. A commercial electrical contractor came out to the property and drained the pool halfway so he could work on all of the lighting elements. It took a week to make the changes to the pool lighting, but the commercial electrical contracting team worked fast and diligently.
