Hiring a handyman to do the tile
My cabin came with an ugly wood stove in the middle of the bedroom! The previous owner made it functional too, however it was vented through the wood ceiling and there was a stack on the roof.
The woodstove sat on a stone pad that was sited on the flooring. They break the carpet around it. The whole removal was messy and high-priced. I had to hire a Heating & A/C dealership to unconnect the woodstove, vent and take it away. I then had to hire a roofing dealer to unconnect the stack and patch the damage. The last thing was the wood ceiling hole and the stone pad. I looked at it and tried it myself. I unconnectd the stone with a sledgehammer and then had to rip up the whole bedroom carpet… After that, I realized I needed help. I wanted a property repair dealer to do the rest. Thankfully I found a handyman repair that does basically everything. I got a estimate on a flooring remodel and the patch for the wood ceiling. It ended up costing me numerous grand and I suppose great about that price. I now have a gray tile floor instead of ugly brown rug. I also have a wood ceiling that you can’t tell where the patch job is. It was a lot of work, time and currency just to unconnect that ugly heater. The previous owner didn’t even use it either. It was as scrub as a whistle inside of it, but why bother venting it to the ceiling if you don’t want to use it?
