I have been married to our partner Rick for 15 years, and prior to getting married, the people I was with and I dated for 3 years, however so, I was sure that she was the lady that I wanted to spend our life with… Every one of us both were in like with each other and thought the people I was with and I would be together forever.

Every one of us were youngsters when the people I was with and I first fell in love, and the people I was with and I got married when the people I was with and I were in our early 20s! I was cheerful for the first 10 years of our marriage, however the last 5 years, I have been pretty irritated, but being married became draining to our soul.

I guess I completely lost myself between catering to our kids as well as to our partner… And to be honest, it began to know like a chore that I no longer wanted to complete. So, after discussing our feelings with Rick and after the people I was with and I realized that counseling didn’t solve the issue, the people I was with and I mutually agreed to go our separate ways. Initially, the people I was with and I discussed not getting a divorce attorney and the people I was with and I would instead have a mediation to work out the settlement. But to our surprise, Rick decided to hire a divorce attorney and served myself and others papers, which totally caught myself and others off guard. After being blindsided by this, I had no option however to hire our own divorce attorney. I thought Rick and I could have settled our divorce out of court, however for some unusual reason, she decided otherwise. I have tried to ask him why she decided to take a weird route, and I have not been able to get a straight answer from him. Either way, our hope is that the people I was with and I can come to the best resolution for our divorce, but only time will tell.
