There is no doubt that we are famous for having seriously hot and humid summers.

The need for HVAC cooling is for sure an important one.

l’ll still take the hot summer’s over winters that last six months with all that HVAC heating expense. Plus, after the tough 4 months of summer, our weather is remarkably wonderful. We manage the heat thanks to our HVAC heat pump. It’s what it takes to get through a summer like ours. I’m super thankful for the heat pump. Ours is relatively new and the technology of the HVAC unit is impressive. There really is no choice for heating and cooling where I come from. The winters are mild enough for the HVAC heat pump to manage anything the winter can deliver. And that is much preferred to what my neighbor’s up north have to deal with. I can’t imagine that at all. But when it gets cold here, all I have to do is flip the thermostat over to the heating mode. The HVAC heat pump simply reverses its flow and extracts heat energy from the outside air. If it gets lower than the forties, the heat pump uses a supplemental electric plate to provide additional heat energy. To me, the heat pump is just an incredibly versatile machine. The one we have even uses leftover heat energy to heat our hot tub. And it’s saving us money while it does that. Again I’m very thankful to have a heat pump as my heating and cooling equipment. We get quality heating and air no matter the temperature or the season.
