My spouse and I have typically been planners and preparers. This is a mindset that has typically proved to be essential to living the sort of lives that the two of us want to live. For sure, there are plenty of times where spontaneity is welcomed in the most planned out life. Otherwise, the routine of going to work inside the zone controlled Heating, Ventilation plus A/C of the office each afternoon would have been less than enjoyable. For more than a decade though, the system of retiring down south where the heat pump rules the afternoon was something the two of us were all about. This had typically sort of been the proposal all along really. Finally hanging it up was another area of the long term plan. And for years, the two of us had figured that we’d transport to where the two of us no longer needed to count on as much Heating, Ventilation plus A/C heating as the two of us have all our lives. Where the two of us live, this is a constant for almost half the year. Frankly, that was just too much Wintertide for me and my spouse. So the system of upgrading the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C component and selling the family lake house was one the two of us had planned on for some time. That all changed in just a matter of months. Our oldest child had our first grandchild and that changed everything. Both of us did indeed get the heating and cooling component updated but the two of us didn’t list the house. Instead, it appears that the two of us will be making our retirement happen right here as the two of us get to watch our grandchildren grow up. Still though, we’re so happy to have the latest in residential Heating, Ventilation plus A/C while we’re doing it.
