They had a/c & they were easily cool

I was uneasy about going to the employee picnic on Sunday. I knew it was going to be a nice day with sizzling weather & sunny skies. I was identifiably uneasy about our adolescents. They tend to get into trouble & I didn’t want them to start an confrontation or cause trouble at the employee picnic. My women are 12 & 13 & they seem to find trouble wherever they go. The weather was attractive when the two of us woke up on Sunday & the adolescents were excited to spend the day at the lake. My wifey made everyone supper with eggs, bacon, toast, & juice. Every one of us got to the lake around 10:00 a.m. & everyone was starting to arrive around the same time. I brought a cooler & a canopy & a couple of turf chairs. My wifey & I sat in the shade while the two of us watched the adolescents play. Every one of us tried to keep an eye on the boys. It was a easily boiling & humid day & the shaded canopy didn’t help much at all. I wanted to leave after supper, however the adolescents were having a fantastic time. I kept finding reasons to sneak over to the lavatorys. They had a/c & they were easily cool. There was really a 20° temperature difference between outside & the air conditioned lavatorys. The seventh time I went to the lavatory to adore the a/c, our wifey asked myself and others if I was having trouble with our stomach. She thought I had diarrhea, however I admited that I was going to the lavatory just to sit in the cool air for a couple of hours.
