Wow, I just woke up in a pool of sweat this morning with a ceiling fan and small fan blowing on me. It is only 11am and it is already 95F outside with the heat index. It’s days like these that I am happy to have a good HVAC brand in my house to keep me cool, I just need to go down and adjust my thermostat accordingly. I set it a bit too high last night, thinking it would keep me cool, but with the temps as high as they are this morning it isn’t working very well. I think I need to go to the local company today and invest in a smart thermostat so that I don’t have to worry about constantly adjusting the old one I have now. I have one of those old school dial thermostats and it isn’t very accurate anymore so it is time to move on to the newest HVAC technology on the market and make my life a bit easier and more comfortable. I think I can get a new one for under $150 so I am going to trot myself down to the store as soon as I wake up with my morning coffee and buy one. I also need to clean my HEPA filter as it has been several months since doing so and I noticed that the air flow from the vents isn’t what it used to be. I think I will buy a washable HEPA at the store so I don’t need to throw away these filters anymore.
