A few weeks ago, my son Jalen turned three years old.

I was super excited because this is the first time that we decided to have an actual birthday party for him. Prior to this, my husband and I got him a cake and invited a few of our family over to celebrate with us. We figured that Jalen would have been too young to remember those birthdays anyway. Well, this year, when we asked him what he wanted for his birthday he was very specific and chose his favorite superhero. Once he made that choice, I needed to secure a location for the party that could provide that theme. Thankfully, Jalen’s favorite superhero is very popular, so I had a lot of different venues to choose from. While doing research, I came across one particular venue that I was really impressed with. This venue stood out because on the website they described the process that they did to make sure that the environment was safe for the kids. In addition, the website also stated that they recently made some improvements to their HVAC system. Part of that improvement was to install an air purification system that uses HEPA to provide cleaner air. That comforted me a lot knowing that they care so much about the indoor air quality and the safety of the kids. Needless to say, I booked Jalen’s party at that venue, and we all had an incredible time. I am planning on renting this venue again for his fourth birthday. My only hope is that the venue will have the theme that Jalen chooses.
