Isn’t it wonderful how women can do anything these days? Even jobs that are traditionally reserved for men because they require advanced thinking and strength? I was really blown away recently when I had a lady cop pulled me over and actually enforce the law properly.

I also was shocked the other day when I opened the door and found a lady HVAC specialist standing on my porch.

Can you imagine! A lady, standing there with a big toolbox and asking where my energy efficient Heating and Cooling equipment was located so she could examine the inner workings! I nearly fell over backwards when that happened. I decided it was best not to insult her, or get involved with this me-too movement, so I let her inside the house and pointed in the general direction of the furnace system. I let her know that the furnace was located in the crawl space, and I understood if she didn’t want to go down there with all the icky bugs. She laughed and said it wouldn’t be a problem. The only thing was, she was going to have a pretty difficult time fitting down there. I wasn’t sure what she was saying or why she was complaining about Carrie and her tools into the crawl space, but I told her that if she was two weeks and needed helpful man to assist with the real work, I would be there to help. She and nearly slapped me in the face, I think. That lady HVAC technician turned to me and said with venom, I’m perfectly capable but I’m also pregnant. Gee whiz! I asked why her husband let her out of the house at all. It’s amazing what ladies are allowed to do these days!
