Decided it would be best to enroll into an HVAC service plan
When we had new heating and cooling equipment installed in our home, the HVAC professional spoke of the terms with the warranty.
He was saying how the warranty would be void under certain conditions.
If a non-certified worker did work on the system or a proper tune-up was not completed yearly for both heating and cooling systems, the warranty would be void. The HVAC expert said it was a good idea to enroll into an HVAC service plan to make sure the warranty was not voided and also we would save a lot of money on our maintenance. I mean, changing the air filters is easy to do, but sometimes you forget about it and that actually can cause damage to your HVAC equipment.
