The last roommate I had was back in university, then and that was well over 30 years ago. However I will never forget the experience, my roommate was totally obsessed with the HVAC system! He would never shut up about the latest and greatest central heat and air conditioning system units on the market at the time. He would also be constantly talking about the latest temperature controls and portable gas furnaces and air conditioning systems as well. I thought it was kind of cool at first that he had so much passion and knowledge about HVAC systems. However, after a while it got to be just plain old annoying and difficult to live with the guy. It was like no matter what we would be talking about or discussing, somehow the heating or air conditioning system would end up getting brought into it! Towards the end of university all I was doing was looking forward to being free of having to hear about HVAC system all the time and getting some peace and quiet along with privacy of having our own part once our lease was up in the beach house we were renting, from what I understand, our final roommate there ended up going on to become an independent HVAC system specialist in another city. That was the last I had heard. However, that was not surprising at all based on his heating and cooling obsession that I had to deal with all throughout our last year of university when we roomed together!
