The last roommate I had was back in college, but that was well over 30 years ago.

However I will never forget the experience! My roommate was totally obsessed with heating and a/c! She would never shut up about the latest as well as greatest central heat and air conditioner units on the market at the time.

She would also be always talking about the latest thermostats and portable gas furnaces and air conditioners as well. I thought it was kind of cool at first that she had so much passion and knowledge about heating as well as a/c. However, after a while it got to be just plain old frustrating and hard to live with the lady. It was care about no matter what the two of us would be talking about or discussing, somehow heating or a/c would end up getting brought into it! Towards the end of college all I was doing was looking forward to being free of having to hear about heating as well as a/c all the time and getting some peace and quiet along with the privacy of having my own space once our lease was up in the house we were renting. From what I understand, my final roommate there ended up going on to become an independent heating and a/c specialist in another city, that was the last I had heard. However, that was not surprising at all based on her heating and cooling obsession that I had to deal with all throughout my last year of college when the two of us roomed together!
