Last night, I had the weirdest dream.

In my dream, I woke up and it was morning and it was so hot inside my house.

It was so hot that I could hardly breathe. I went downstairs and evaluated my control unit and it read 300 degrees. Of course I tried to adjust it but my house just kept getting hotter and hotter. It seemed that the more the air blew, the warmer it got in the house. Finally, I woke up from this nightmare and I realized that it was all just a dream. My house was actually cool and comfortable and my control unit read a comfy 68 degrees. But When I told my mom about the dream, she said that dreams of Hell mean that you are sinning and you need to repent and change your ways. She said such dreams are a glimpse of the afterlife that awaits you. Gee, thanks Mom! It is not like I’m doing a bunch of evil actions. Unless you count the fact that I have been neglecting my HVAC system. I haven’t changed my air filter in almost a year and I haven’t had the air conditioning unit worked on either. I keep meaning to but after that, I remember that I have a dirty air filter. I want to change the air filter before the maintenance specialists come over and think I’m a lazy dirty person. But, this results in me not having my system worked on. I also just keep forgetting about getting a new and clean air filter. I guess the dream was a reflection of the Hell I might face if I don’t get on top of it. I already called up and made an appointment to have my system inspected on Wednesday. Today, I will get a new air filter on the way home from work.
