They call it a mid-life crisis, but I call it living and following your dreams no matter the age.

I was working? in the IT business for close to 15 years when I decided to change careers.

The reason for this was from an encounter with an expert who literally saved my life. It was a hot summer evening and I was working on a computer program for a client. It was scorching outside and I was glad to be chilled by my cooling system. After a few hours of being glued to my computer screen, I had not noticed the air becoming hotter around me. The windows were open and so it had taken long to notice that the air conditioning had stopped working. Since I had been advised of the quick troubleshooting tips, I first checked on the air conditioning filter and since it was a washable filter, it just needed a good clean. However, this did not revive the unit. The wifi thermostat seemed to be working well so I checked the ductwork. Though I had the HVAC serviceman perform the a/c tune-up, I still checked the HVAC duct to ensure that there was no dirt and that the air duct was clean and without any blockages. While I was doing all these checks, the temperatures within the house had risen to dangerous levels and I passed out from a heat stroke. The cooling specialist had called the paramedics when he saw me lying on the floor near the door. It also turns out that my a/c setup had been fitted next to where the commercial AC for the previous building was and so there had been debris covering the unit which limited the airflow and caused the quality air conditioner to malfunction.
