When my sister went into the service, I didn’t realize it was going to be numerous years before I would see him again.

She went right from boot camp to overseas, where she spent the next numerous years.

In that time, I had graduated from high university and gone to a technical university for Heating and A/C certification classes. I already had my Heating and A/C certification and had a year of on-the-task training by the time my sister got home. I appreciated the task I was doing and the people I was laboring with. I thought I had the perfect task. I knew I was able to do the task that most people else was doing, however then my sister came home. She was the same crucial sister she always was. She never thought I would amount to much and that I should just grow up and become a housewifey with a partner who could take care of me. You can’t imagine how shocked she was when she realized I had gone to Heating and A/C university and was now laboring in the local Heating and A/C supplier. She thought I should be embarrassed to be laboring with these women. I was talking cash out of their pockets and food off their tables. She thought they were only putting up with my laboring there because I was a woman and part of an affirmative action group of ladies. There wasn’t anything I could do to convince him that I was there because I was fantastic at my task. When she realized I was laboring with some seasoned pals of his, she chose to talk to them. My coworker told him that she was proud to work with me.
