When the pandemic first came about, a lot of workers in our country had to experience a brief hiatus. This was no different for me even though I am an HVAC technician. I figured a little break couldn’t hurt, and it actually gave me a lot of time to focus on things I wanted to do around my house. I ended up deciding that I wanted to upgrade my own HVAC system. I was tired of having the central HVAC system with the costly energy bills. It was especially embarrassing to me because I am an HVAC technician. People automatically assume that HVAC technicians have the best HVAC systems in their homes, but that’s not always the case. For starters, I am always too busy to be entirely concerned about my own HVAC system. Don’t get me wrong, I do the regular maintenance and care that it needs, but I don’t go out of my way to find the best HVAC system of all time. Well, I did want an upgrade and I felt that the perfect HVAC system for my home would be a ductless mini split. Let’s face it, ductless HVAC systems are the way of the future. For a system that doesn’t need ductwork and is highly energy efficient, it’s the perfect investment for any household. Not to mention the HVAC zone control permits you to have customized temperature control settings around the house. You don’t have to bother heating or cooling the whole household if you don’t want to! This is why I had this installed during my hiatus and I couldn’t wait to brag to all my co-workers when I got back to work!
