My Dad plus dad were many people who entirely cared for all the individuals around them.

They didn’t just make time for family plus work.

Those many made time for everybody. The beauty area of that was how people whose lives they touched always reciprocated in some way. It was about caring not some cynical deal. My folks had an annual tradition of providing a gift for each repair lady all of us knew at the holidays. The mailman, the plumber, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C tech plus countless others got a little envelope from dad plus a sweet from our mom. They were so not rich people. This was cash they set aside, through the year, for this absolutely purpose. I do not care for that we, as a society, have gotten away from little caring traditions appreciate this. It’s such a fantastic way from moving the perspective from self to the needs of others. Some of the best happiness comes from caring plus showing compassion for other people. The other day, the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C woman was out at our house. She comes out twice a year. Fall brings him out to be sure the gas furnace is up to the task of keeping our family warm for the long winter. She is such a fantastic woman plus a consummate professional. Her thorough toil provides comfort plus safety for our entire household. As she was leaving, I slipped him a little envelope plus a big chunk of our wifey’s apple pie. Maybe the tradition continues. Either way, it sure felt good to do something nice for no other reason than it was nice.
