I rent a room with some roommates. I can’t afford to rent a whole residence myself so I just have a single one of the rooms in a 3 bedroom residence… The owner of the residence has been acting especially crazy lately though! She refuses to run the cooling machine. She is terrified of covid-19 as well as she actually learned that cooling machines can spread the virus through the HVAC duct… I informed her that every one of us could get a particularly good air filter to keep us safe but she won’t hear it. I am positive she would just kick me as well as the other renter out if she could afford to do that. She’s terrified that we might bring the virus back to the residence. She even wears a mask inside always as well as she is regularly wiping down the entire residence. I don’t know where she is getting these disinfectant wipes from. I have not been able to find any for a long period of time now. This thing with the cooling machine is getting a little bit out of hand. It’s been 90 degrees for a little while now as well as still she refuses to let us turn the cooling machine on. Instead, every window in the residence is open as well as the fans are running non-stop. I’m thinking about getting a window cooling machine for my own room even though I don’t want the owner of the residence to get mad. I’m not sure that she would though. After all, I don’t see how a window A/C machine could possibly hurt anything. It would only cool air in my room, not throughout the whole house. So any virus I might have would still be trapped in my room only.
