I have been paying for HVAC inspections for many years, and I can promise you that having HVAC inspections is definitely worth it if you own HVAC units. I couldn’t imagine trying to deal with my HVAC units without having an HVAC technician come out to inspect my units. I remember when I didn’t have HVAC inspections. I wasn’t having a ton of trouble with my HVAC units, but I would usually have one major HVAC trouble per season. It would always happen at the most inconvenient time, and I would have to go a few days without my HVAC unit. The HVAC technicians are always busiest during that time of year, so it took forever to get an HVAC technician to my house. When I talked to the HVAC technician, he told me that a lot of the major troubles that I was having with my HVAC units were caused by minor issues that were never found. He said that if they did HVAC inspections, they would be able to find the minor problems within my HVAC unit before they ever become major problems. Also, if I had the HVAC technician inspect my HVAC units, they would be able to prevent the breakdowns that occurred during the worst times of the year. It costs me around the same amount of money to fix my HVAC units, but the peace of mind that I have knowing that my HVAC units are going to work makes it worth it. I would strongly recommend having your HVAC units inspected regularly by the HVAC technician.
