Moisture ruins wood furniture

My new activity is making wood furniture, and i have even begun selling it plus it may turn into a part time task. I made our outdoor shed into a woodlaboring station. I have all our tools, wood plus nearly finished pieces in there. I just prefer the process of cutting, measuring plus designing a piece. I recently did some hunting around online plus found an article about humidity affecting wood… Too much humidity in the air quality causes wood to swell; Not enough moisture in the air will cause wood to crack. My shed is outside with no Heating and A/C or humidity control at all. I am now distraught that our wood pieces may get damaged in the upcoming hot then cold season, then adding a Heating and A/C component will be quite luxurious. I could get a ductless mini split, but then I have to spend our money for Heating and A/C installation plus repair. I also will need to have an indoor air handler in an already small shed. I am wondering if I can get by simply with a dehumidifier plus a humidifier. The shed is really tiny, so controlling the moisture in the air quality can’t be that hard. There are dehumidifiers plus humidifiers that are portable plus can just rest in a space. I can use the dehumidifier in the Summer to get rid of the sticky air. The humidifier can work in the Winter time when the air feels so dry plus static filled. I don’t want to split too many corners though. If I lose out on all our wood, that will be quite luxurious.
