My husband is forever complaining about the energy bills in our house.

It doesn’t matter what I do; he has a suggestion for being able to do it more efficiently or by using less energy.

I occasionally wonder why I even married the guy until he smiles at me. Two weeks ago, he frustrated myself and others with his constant complaints. Our energy bill had come in and he got it before I did. No sooner had he looked at the bottom line, and he was lecturing me. I stood there with our lips walletd. It was all I could do to keep from commenting on his pompous attitude. When he finally shut up, I walked into the home office. I opened the freezer and unclogged it. I opened the back door and pushed the open freezer onto the porch. I told him it was freezing enough that both of us didn’t need the freezer inside. He was unhappy with me, however he didn’t say a word. The next day I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business. I asked them to come out and do a thorough energy check on our oil furnace and air conditioner unit. I told them that our husband wanted to suppose how to save currency on our heating and air conditioner. They knew our husband well and the owner of the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C corporation laughed. Every year our husband went on a tirade about our energy savings. He asked myself and others what I had done in response to his tirade and I told him about the freezer on the porch. He sent his best Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist to our house the following day. My husband was home to oversee the inspection.
