I like to relax in a hot bath at the end of the night.

It is a nice little thing I do after a long day at work.

It is good for my feet, back and neck. The idea of a white, porcelain, or plastic bathtub didn’t do it for me though. They are cold, boring in addition to not that comfortable to soak in. I decided I wanted a wooden bathtub. I wanted the woode created to match the modern, minimalistic interior of my bathroom as well. There is a pleasant fragrance to wood in addition to it diffuses sound from the water hitting it. I knew it would greatly add to my night time relaxation plus the look of the bathroom. I called up a custom furniture craftsman to create a design in addition to build our precise bathtub. While the cost of the handcrafted wooden bathtub was significantly more pricey than a conventional choice, the natural beauty was worth it. Because wood is simple to work with, the bathtub was able to be created in the shape of my own choosing. I decided on a square shape in addition to asked for it to be much deeper in addition to larger than a regular tub. I wanted to be submerged in addition to able to comfortably lay in there. The custom craftsman actually used boat building processes to create a solid wood tub that looks enjoyable in addition to is also functional. He incorporated over 2 hundred individual pieces of sustainably harvested oak, which is a very high-end wood similar to mahogany. There is an invisible fiberglass layer, in addition to the piece is stained with six coats to protect the integrity of the wood.
