I recently experienced a pretty major medical setback a few weeks ago, & I ended up in the hospital for several days. Seemingly, the medical setback wasn’t life-threatening, however they weren’t taking any chances. I honestly had to stay in the hospital overnight for a week while they made sure to check all of my vitals & made sure that I was absolutely healthy. That was truly the worst week of my life as far as sleep actually goes. The constant check-ups & the uncomfortable bed wasn’t helpful at all. The worst part was the air conditioning appliance in the room where I was staying. Obviously, I guess that hospitals use air conditioning appliances a lot for health concerns. The frosty air from the air conditioning helps to stop the spread of illness, & it keeps the medical professionals completely comfortable. However, when you are actually resting in a bed all day while the air conditioning appliance is keeping the room ice cold, it is extremely uncomfortable. Even though they realize the air conditioning makes people cold, the blankets that they give people are not very good. I kept asking for more & more blankets, however they said that they didn’t have enough blankets to go around. If they turned down the air conditioning appliance a little bit, it wouldn’t have been such a horrible situation. They wouldn’t even adjust the temperature control much when I asked. I was so thrilled to leave that hospital & be able to enjoy our own dwelling, where the air conditioning is set to a regular level. I don’t ever want to stay at the hospital for a long time with that air conditioning appliance ever again. It was honestly brutal.
