My wife & I have entirely different opinions when it comes to the temperature of our household… I wouldn’t say that I prefer frosty temperatures, although I easily like my house to feel moderately comfortable. I prefer my household to be 75 degrees, & I like to use my air conditioning device or my oil furnace to keep it that temperature all of the time. In my wife’s opinion, that temperature is easily way too chilly. If she had her way, she would never turn on the air conditioning device at all. During the winter, she prefers the heating device to keep the house at 75-78 degrees, which is unquestionably overheated in my opinion. The two of us have been arguing about our Heating & Air Conditioning devices for a long time, however after she had the baby, I made the choice to just give in & let her keep the heating device at a higher temperature. During the morning, it isn’t an immense deal to have the oil furnace run a little extra. The only time that I struggle with the warmer temperatures is when I am trying to get some sleep. I have constantly slept with the air conditioning device running & heavy blankets on my body, but these days, the oil furnace is keeping our household unquestionably warm, & I sweat with my blankets on me. If I take the blankets off, I have a real hard time sleeping because of the lack of weight. If I try to turn the oil furnace down, my wife grumbles about how freezing it is. I haven’t been sleeping well for the last few months, & it is the fault of the heating device. I honestly don’t know what to do.
