I’m not fooling anyone when I say that there are definitely multiple things that I just plain hate about getting older.

All the “wisdom” is a wonderful thing, however I’d trade some of it for that pliable body that heals quickly. My body is what makes me aware of my age. This is only added to by the incredible social revolution that is occurring all around us. All I can do at the moment is crank the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit and sit back. I definitely didn’t see the warning signs while I was a budding adult back in the late 90’s. Just the technology wave alone is crazy to think about every year. Unfortunately, with all this change comes a balancing. So much of the current technology has replaced what humans once got paid to do. This is a sweeping change that I didn’t count on. I was let go by a business I was sure that I’d be able to retire with. However, I was fired after 35 years and it was over instantly. I still had to gain cash so, I put myself out there as a sales consultant. This required me to work from my house, so I took over one of the guest bedrooms. My husband wasn’t super thrilled with the system, but I had to have an office that was private and just mine. I put all my office devices in the new office and purchased a new desk. I also phoned the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C gentlemen to come over and install a ductless Heating, Ventilation, and A/C unit. I adore my new office, but it had to be a certain temperature and remain there in order for me to work well. That’s why I needed a dedicated heating and cooling unit. However, my husband didn’t dig that too much either.
