I am not not going to fool anyone.

There are several things that I hate about getting older. All the “wisdom” you accumulate is a wonderful bonus but I would trade for that pliable body that heals quicker. My aging body is making me very aware of my age. That is only added on by the wonderful social revolution that is taking place all around me. All I can do is to crank the HVAC system, kick back as well as just keep on living life. I never saw this on the horizon while I was a young adult several years ago. The technology wave alone is still blowing my mind on a yearly basis. With all of this comes a balance. A lot of the upcoming technology these days have taken the spot of what a human once got paid for. This is a sweeping change that affected me. I was let go by a contractor who I was confident would hold a position for me for life. However, I was let go after 30 years as well as it was over in a flash. I still had to receive money, so I put myself back out there as a consultant. I decided to work from my home, so I took over the spare guest room. My wife wasn’t super stoked with my plan, but I had to have an office that used to be a junk room. I put all the necessary supplier devices in there and even got myself a new desk. I also contacted the HVAC supplier in town to come out to install a ductless HVAC unit. I prefer my office to be a certain temperature while I work there. This is why I had to have a dedicated heating as well as cooling unit. My wife didn’t dig that too much either.

HVAC technician
