I’m not the type who normally gets very envious, but it happened this time. I went to our outdated friend from school’s beach house a while back and couldn’t help but be impressed. She has consistently been pretty techy—she consistently was one of those people who waited outside in the snow to be the first to get the newest smartphone the day it came out. So, when I went to her house, I was not surprised to find that she had outfitted her home with a “smart” everything: smart doorbell, smart TV, smart refrigerator. I definitely shouldn’t have been surprised to see a basic smart temperature control, but I had never seen one before. I asked her many questions about her temperature control, & she showed myself and others the app on her iphone how she could set the heating system or cooling system to expertly keep the beach house at a certain temperature while she was there on the property or across the country! I was entirely impressed. When she told myself and others precisely how much she saved on her heating & cooling bill every month since installing it I was even more impressed! I asked her how difficult she thought it would be to get a smart temperature control & she said it was no problem. Just call your Heating & Air Conditioning provider, and most Heating & Air Conditioning providers sell a variety of smart temperature controls these days. Then, they would be there to install it & all I had to do was get an app on our smartphone to control it. The future entirely is now!
