Any homeowner who lives in the chilly area of the country that our family and I live know the importance of having a solid heating source.

Back when both of us were younger and our kids were still in the toddler phase.

My partner and I relied on a common heating furnace for years. It did a relaxing task keeping the home hot enough, but after 9 or 10 years it started to show signs of breaking down. We had been flirting with getting radiant flooring installed for awhile, and now with the lack of heating in our home both of us had the perfect opportunity. Since both of us have had the radiant flooring installed in our home both of us have seen a massive improvement not just in the heating quality, but in our everyday home life in general! The air quality has improved in a massive way, there are no longer chilly spots in the home, and our bi-weekly heating bills are more or less nonexistent. With how much our kids seem to prefer the radiant flooring I sincerely don’t know if they would have gotten by in the afternoons with both of us using a common furnace. Perhaps there would have been a full blown riot or something, I have no idea! What I do know is that making the change to radiant flooring was one of the best choices that my partner and I could have made for our family and I would advocate all other parents out there with the means to do so to make the change as soon as they can.
