Any homeowner who lives in the freezing section of the country will realize the importance of having a solid heat source.

Back when we were younger plus our kids were still in the toddler phase, my wife and I relied on a typical heating oil furnace for years. It did a good job keeping the apartment warm without any doubt, but after about 4 to 5 years it started to show signs of breaking down. We had been flirting with getting radiant flooring installed for awhile, now with the lack of heating in our lake apartment we had the perfect opportunity. Ever since we have had the radiant flooring installed in our lake apartment we have seen a large improvement not just in the heating quality, but in our everyday lake apartment life in general. The air quality has improved in a big way, there are no longer cold spots in the home, and our bi-weekly heating bills are more or less nonexistent. With how much our kids seem to adore the radiant flooring I honestly don’t know if they would have gotten by in the mornings when we had a typical oil furnace, perhaps there would have been a full blown riot or something, I’m not sure! What I do know is that making the change to radiant flooring was a single of the best choices that my wife plus I could have made for our family plus I would recommend all other parents out there with the means to do so to make the change as soon as they can.
