The one HVAC tech no one wants to work with

Lance is the resident joker and party animal at the job.

He is still pretty new, just six months out of school and into the workforce, and he is still adjusting to the life of a working man.

I don’t know what he did while in school, but apparently it involved a lot of late nights and heavy drinking. That is all well and good, but this job requires early mornings and hard work throughout the day, so he needs to make some adjustments to his lifestyle if he wants to keep having a job here. HVAC workers need to be out the door and on the job by the time the sun comes up. Sometimes its necessary to work an overnight emergency heating repair gig, but honestly those come up maybe a few times a year at most. Normal working hours are from sunup to sundown, the hardest working time of the day for air conditioners is also the busiest time for AC repair techs. The winter is actually are slow time, because for whatever reason it seems that people have less problems with heating their homes then with cooling them down. Personally I think it is because heating tech is older and more reliable, it was built to last! Air conditioning is more of a creature comfort, as they say, meant to keep us comfortable but not as essential to our survival as heating. In any event, if Lance doesn’t stop showing up late to the HVAC shop they pretty soon he won’t have a job to come in for.
