A certain HVAC worker will lose his job sooner than later
Henry just so happens to be the resident joker and celebration guy at the job, but he is still pretty new.
Just multiple months out of college and into the workforce, and he is still making an attempt to adjust to the life of a working man.
I seriously don’t know what he did while in college, however obviously it involved plenty of late nights and a good amount of drinking… That is all well and good, however this job requires early mornings and completely tough work throughout the day, so he needs to make a number of adjustments to his lifestyle if he wants to keep having a job here. Heating and A/C workers need to be out the door and on the job by the time the sun is actually up. There are times when it is necessary to work an overnight emergency heating service gig, however truthfully those come up maybe a couple of times a year at maximum. Normal working hours are from sunup to sundown pretty much. The hardest working time of the day for A/C equipment is also the busiest time for AC service techs. The frosty season is entirely the slow time for us, because for whatever reason it seems that people have less issues with heating their properties than with cooling them down. Personally, I guess it is because heating tech is quite a bit older and more reliable, it was built to last forever! Air conditioning is honestly more of a creature comfort, as they say, meant to keep us comfortable however not as needed for our survival as heating. In any event, if Henry doesn’t quit showing up completely late to the Heating and A/C shop then pretty soon he won’t have a job position to come in for.
