My whole life I’ve wanted to be a dentist so it was so I am sure it did not surprise our family when I went to university & took a nursing classes! It’s taken more than more than 2 years however I am finally about to graduate, then and, this semester, I get to work in a real hospital with real professionals. It’s not that our professors were not great, it’s just that hands-on experiences are always the best. That’s how I learn: by doing rather than seeing. And I have l earned so much, then some of it seems prefer regular sense, in hindsight, however other things were certainly surprising, but one of the most surprising things I’ve l earned while laboring in the hospital was how strict their requirements are when it comes to their Heating & A/C system. The hospital keeps their Heating & A/C method set to actually low temperatures because of all their unit & also because the low temperatures keep bacteria down. This helps the patients to get better quicker. The ventilation method has strong filters to keep germs from circulating throughout the odd rooms as well, then without a great Heating & A/C method the hospital’s patients might not get better abruptly, if at all! That’s why there is an Heating & A/C company that is licensed to work with the hospital & they will come out instantly if there are any concerns. They also inspect the Heating & A/C method at least once a month to keep it running smoothly. I love the need for the frosty air to keep our patients healthy however it’s actually frosty when you are trying to work in temperatures under 60 degrees in scrubs. I am sure I shall get used to it though.
